Baby Jesus in the womb
10 Weeks
10 fingerprints begin to form. The fingernails start to develop. The eyelids now fuse together until month 7, protecting the delicate eyes. The number of connections between nerves and muscles has tripled since last week.

Psalm 16 tells us that the path of our life is unique. Up until now, the baby girl we were following in the womb could have been anybody- but at 10 weeks, the nervous system is growing, and fingerprints, that modern unique identifier of every person on the planet, are beginning to form. She is a unique individual- never seen before on Earth, never to be repeated again. And as always, she shares her expected birthday with Our Lord, December 25, 2015.
