A Basket of Hope and Mother And Child, Missouri and Portland Fundraiser

Shannon Seeber is teaming with us to do a socially distanced fundraiser for two organizations- Mother and Child Education Center, and a Missouri-based charity called A Basket of Hope.

We all need HOPE in our lives. As we enter into this holiday season, Shannon will donate $10 to Mother+Child Education Center for every necklace sold.

We are all familiar with Mother And Child- which provides education and connections to services for women in crisis pregnancies.

A Basket of Hope is a new charity to us, they work with Ronald McDonald houses to provide a gift basket to children dealing with that very scary moment of a childhood cancer diagnosis.

If you buy this necklace for either a loved one, or to donate to Mother and Child for a mother who needs some hope, $10 will be donated to A Basket of Hope, and $10 will be donated to Mother and Child Education Center.

A second Hope Necklace purchased through this program, will be included in a basket for A Basket of Hope.

 Hope Necklace $32

Venmo Shannon to order the necklace for $32 and tell her if you want it delivered to you, or delivered to Mother and Child Education Center.

You can also sponsor a woman by just sending $32 for the necklace and Shannon will give that necklace to Mother and Child Education Center to one of the women there that they are assisting--this daily reminder that there is hope--so they get the necklace and the organization will get the $10!

From Brother Tom Owens- Help needed

 HELP NEEDED

As you probably already know Tom Owens’ son, Bob, died recently in a car crash. Tom will be removing Bob’s items from a Portland self-storage facility on Monday Nov 22nd from about 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Tom has already had the fantastic help of Brothers Michael Chau and Oanh Nguyen in organizing the ‘stuff’ in the unit. He could use the help of a few additional Knights on Monday Nov. 22nd to remove items from storage unit and take them for donation or to the dump. He is planning on renting a U Haul truck to move the items unless one of you already has a truck they would be willing to use. If available to help, please contact Tom at tomrowens@msn.com or 503.789.7313 for storage facility location and other details.
