  •  St. Clare's Parish Ted Seeber & Mike O'Phelan  Everything has been stopped by Omicron virus.

  •  St. John Fisher of Hungary     Gene Andres & Mike Devlin   Nothing new to report.

 7:40 pm   K of C Business
  • No neighbor left behind calls were made and everyone is doing fairly well.  Paul Pompili had two toes surgically removed because of diabetes.
  • We discussed the book "Life is Messy." 50 books will go to St. John Fisher & to St. Clare Parish.  Our K of C members will get 1 copy each.
  • RE The Essay Contest: Olive Willes won 1st prize, Lucan Cushman won 2nd prize & Charlotte Eder won the 3rd prize 
  • We decided to stop trying to assist seminarians Jonah and Marcos.  We will ask Mt. Angel to recommend one needy seminarian and give him a $500 check.
  • The special needs mass idea is still on hold because of the Omicron virus.
8 p.m.     New Business
  • On Saturday, 1/29/2022. pray at 2 p.m. for the Synod project and the souls of the unborn.
  • Reminder: We believe in the real presence of Christ when we take the eucharist.
  • If you are having a problem paying your dues, Marc Gregoire will assist you.
  • Discussed 'Possible Fund Raising Projects"
  • Discussed the Mt. Angel Flooring Project: they are re-grouping their efforts to do the job.

  • Michael Chau's relatives who have died in Vietnam from the Omicrom virus.

IMPORTANT - Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity

All Council Knights,

Individual council members need to complete form 1728a (LINK) with their 
personal activities during calendar year 2021, not including their participation in council programs.  I will combine the information you provide with the information the council reported on and submit our Council information.  You can email your completed form to me at gene.andres@comcast.net.   I need to submit our Council's completed form by January 31.

Each year in January, the Church recalls the visit of the Magi to Bethlehem, highlighting God’s invitation to all of humanity to a new covenant in the Incarnation of Christ.

Celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in your community from January 18-25, 2022. That they all may be one.

Cada año, en el mes de enero, la Iglesia recuerda la visita de los Reyes Magos a Belén, destacando la invitación de Dios a toda la humanidad a una nueva alianza en la Encarnación de Cristo.

Statewide Holy Hour hosted by the Archdiocese of Portland & Diocese of Baker with help from the Knights of Columbus Councils

As part of the Eucharistic revival called for by the U.S. Bishops, Archbishop Sample and Bishop Cary are inviting all Catholic churches in Oregon to hold a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration on or around January 29, 2022.

Archbishop Sample will lead a Holy Hour at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Saturday, January 29th at 11 a.m. Celebrate in-person or watch the livestream here

(Knights of Columbus Council 15485 will be hosting a Holy Hour on January 29th 2pm-4pm at St. Clare's in solidarity with Archbishop Sample!  Go to both if you can!)
