We have lost a charter member- may Ed Flabetich rest in God.

Ed Flabetich died 3/22/2015. His funeral will be at 11:00 on Monday Mar 30 at St John Fisher. I urge all members who have time to go; unfortunately your Grand Knight can't as I will be starting a new job that day.

DGK Shows Eucharistic Miracle Posters at St. Cecilia's

Ken Writes: This past weekend, K/C council #6266 (Beaverton) hosted the Eucharistic Miracle Posters in St. Cecilia's parish gym. I was impressed with the number and commitment of the Knights who participated in setting up, monitoring and taking down the exhibition. They allowed me to take their table cloths for future use in the display. They also had plenty of tables, flowers, music, coffee, cookies, wine and cheese for the event. Well over 1000 people viewed the posters, thanks to their work, and advertising on KBVM. I personally learned a lot about the needs for a hosting a successful event - but their hard work solved most problems.

A miracle in the presence of the Pope

You want to do the double click through to this, Aleteia has video of the miracle of St. Gennaro in the presence of the Pope. St Gennaro was martyred in 350 A.D., this relic is ancient.

For the Feast of St. Joseph

Dr. Greg Popcak has a list of 15 reasons why Fathers Matter.

#15 is in the realm of "reasons why Ted Started the John Clare Council".  It's worth the double click through.

The second post for today was also good.

$300 to Help Hope Live for James Michael Morgan

When the cause is just, the parishioners of St. Clare's are very generous indeed.

Virtual Pass the Hat

I'm reposting the Virtual Pass the Hat link. Our friend James Michael Morgan just went through a double lung transplant. He needs help with expenses. You can give, through this 501c3 crowdfunding link: https://m.helphopelive.org/campaign/5914 . A few questions were brought up last night. 100% of the money given to this organization goes to transplant patients of various types. The site is paid for by other means. This campaign is for James Michael Morgan. If by some miracle, this campaign raises more money than James Michael Morgan can use, the money will be shared to other transplant patients with campaigns at this site. Please share this link with all of your friends, even if you can't give yourself.  I'm reposting this because we had a couple of people ask, and I told them to go to the parish website which leads to our blog.

A very good video

Matthew Kelly's Best Lent Ever 4th week is a good lesson on the Eucharist that especially third degree Knights should watch.  Click through to the blog post for the link.

Pinocchio Movie Night a great success

56 people attended.  We had to go out for more pizza 3 times!
The DVD didn't work, but I hooked up a VHS and we used Laura's VHS quite successfully.
 We really spread out

The Lego Church was a big hit, but I think we went backwards in its construction- and somebody thinks the sanctuary goes quite a ways into the West Transept.

Meeting Monday March 16

7pm in the Fireside room.  I will try to get an agenda out at some point, but I've been extremely busy over the last week.

Call for volunteers

We may be short on volunteers for the breakfast, we don't know.  If you plan on being there, please send an e-mail to Jim and Judy Van Domelen.  The one place we may be really short is on those all important people to serve the food between 9:30-10:45 am.  I believe we are fine on the rest.
