Hello Knights,
I heard that you had another terrific discussion led by Gene at the last KofC meeting on the book I Heard God Laugh. This book is a guide to help us encounter God in a powerful way and to help us start a habit of daily prayer.
We will be continuing our discussion at our next meeting (Tuesday Aug 17th) with Part 4 - Six Powerful Spiritual Lessons. For those that do not have the book, you can click HERE and download a scanned PDF of Part 4.
Here are some possible discussion questions that have been recommended for you to think on as you read the 4th Part:
Question 1: Have you ever been on a pilgrimage? What was that experience like? If not, what do you imagine is the purpose of a pilgrimage? Where would you like to go? Why?
Question 2: : Let’s talk about the Six Seismic Shifts. They are: Begin the Conversation, Ask God What He Wants, Give Yourself to Prayer, Transform Everything into Prayer, Make Yourself Available and Just Keep Showing Up. Does one of these resonate with you more than the others? Which seismic shift do you feel you are experiencing right now?
Question 3: Matthew muses that the spiritual life is not a straight line. Have you experienced that in your own journey? Share with the group.
