Mary Bunday with St. Clare's St. Vincent de Paul has reached to our Council for assistance. There is a family that needs furniture and another family that is donating furniture (Couch / Table / Chairs / End Table).
They are looking for a volunteer with a truck and additional manpower to assist moving the furniture. Depending on the truck size, it will be a 1 or 2 load trip. Luckily, the 2 locations are near each other and our Council. Pick up location is near the Six Corners (Garden Home Rd & 62nd Pl.) and drop off is down the road near Gabriel Park on Vermont.
If you are interesting in volunteering, please contact me letting me. They are flexible on the day / time. Once we have our volunteers, we will work this out. Sooner the better, with the understanding that moving this weekend with the heat may not be possible.
