7:00 pm - Call to Order

• Warden’s Membership Check- motion to accept membership without cards passed unanimously

• Prayer - Our Father

• Pledge of Allegiance

• Roll Call of Officers. 

• Reading / Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes (November) Moved and seconded passed unanimously

7:05 pm - GK’s Remarks (Don Mey)

• Member Challenge  - need quota of 5, we need to bring more people in.  Still have pending degrees for Deacon Bill

• Committees / Help - ask others and use your brothers to help with committees

• Blog / Calendar - up to date and meeting on the 8th of February

  • Birthday present to GK- a MacBook Pro donated in memory of a past GK from the 1970s.   

7:15 pm - Treasurer’s Report (Mike Devlin) - Charity $5.71  Unity $544.01. Fraternity $1919.98. More dues and donations flowing in next month.  voted and seconded, accepted unanimously

7:20 pm - Financial Secretary’s Report (Erik Riechers)

Supreme says all bills with them has been paid, all vouchers have now been processed- more going out.  New dues checks coming in.  Dues Report:  we will have firm numbers in February

7:21 pm- For the good of the Order. Reading from the Gospel of Matthew. Feast of Abbot Anthony         

7:25 pm - Committees

• Program Director - Service Forms 1728, 1728a (Gene Andres) - if you did not fill out a 1728a at the meeting, please e-mail to Gene.  Just personal hours donated please, fill out the left side (council side) only.

• No Neighbor Left Behind Phone Calls (James M. Morgan)

• “Deacon Bill Invitation to Prayer” January 22nd (Ted Seeber) - need volunteers to read- 5 to 10 ideally.  Covering Glorious Mysteries and pro-life Chaplet

• Coffee & Donuts St. Clare, January 29th (Don Mey) - we need volunteers for this.  Seeber Family to set up.  Need 3 more shifts- send e-mail to gk@kofc15485.org to volunteer.  

• Pancake Breakfasts - St. Clare, confirmed for March 5th. St. John Fisher

Mar 19th.  Scott Young available for both.  

• Exemplification Ceremony date- will discuss with Deacon Bill at the Adoration on the 22nd

• Comments. Why did you become a Knight?  Learn to tell that story to recruit better.  

8:10 pm - “Holy Moments” Part 2 Holy Moments Explained (Pages 33-59).

What idea or story from Part 2 of the book impressed you the most? Why?

If time allows pick one or a few of the questions below for discussion. Your

group need not cover all of them. (Group Leaders; Tom, Don, Ted)

• Kelly gives a number of examples of Holy Moments. Was there one that

especially appealed to you? Which one? Why?

• Can you describe an example of a Holy Moment that you did or have

observed recently? What stood out about it? How did it make you feel?

• Holy Moments can occur in individuals or groups. Can you think of a

Knights of Columbus Holy Moment you were part of? What made it a

Holy Moment? How can the Knights create more Holy Moments?

• How can your weaknesses be turned into Holy Moments? Give an

example?

  • Intercessions for:  Bonnie Owens, James Morgan, Paul H. GK RIP 

• God bless the work of the council and its members and grant eternal

peace to the souls of departed members.
