I'll put out an agenda soon. But here are some of the ideas bouncing around in my head:
- First of all, Ted is becoming a permanent employee of Intel. Good news for our council, as well as his family. Deo Gratias!
- We have been asked by the Archdiocese to prepare the Trimbly House (the actual rectory of St. Clare's at the corner of the school campus) for the Echo Program- three single lay theology students will be living there starting in August for a year, serving at St. Clare's, St Pius X, and Holy Trinity. Five councils have been asked to participate in this. Mike Devlin has agreed to lead this.
- We've lost our June 3rd breakfast, but for a good cause. Our seminarian Council Member is being ordained June 2nd, he will be saying his first Mass at 8:30 am at St. Clare's June 3rd. We may yet be asked to help with the reception afterwards.
- To that end, we have two seminarians we are associated with becoming priests. I think we should do something special for them, come to the meeting to find out what it is.
- We have a breakfast scheduled at St. John Fisher May 6th . Hopefully by then we will have a better picture of upcoming financial needs for the summer
- Nobody has volunteered to go to Lebanon at the end of April for the State Convention
