Last fall, our St. Clare Parish Community hosted a water and food drive for the Warm Springs Reservation and provided their community with over 20,000 pounds of food and water. The donations from St. Clare made a real impact on the families of Warm Springs. We would like to help with these needs again this year. Warm Springs is still experiencing many challenges accessing clean water, and this year has been magnified by the Delta Variant and many members in quarantine with COVID. This year, the St. Clare Peace and Justice Committee is requesting gift cards from Safeway or Fred Meyer. With the money collected, Lynnette Howes and her team will purchase clean water in Madras, OR to deliver to Warm Springs. Throughout the month of October, please bring gift cards or monetary donations in an envelope labeled for Warm Springs to the collection basket at church or the drop slot on the front porch of the parish office. If you are sending a check, make it payable to St. Clare Church with Warm Springs written on the memo line. Every gift counts and no amount is too large or small. Thank you for your contributions and continued prayers for our brothers and sisters in Warm Springs.
