Update: Please Pray for Mrs. Riechers
St. Clare Parish COVID Vaccine Assistance
Senior parishioners with less tech savvy are at an inherent disadvantage to secure finite online appointments for the COVID vaccine and we’d like to help you secure an appointment.
How does it work?
· Parishioners over 65+ register with the program by sending an email
· Volunteers meet by telephone with an assigned parishioner and/or their care proxy and walk through a series of questions to create an online scheduling game plan
· Volunteers use their internet prowess, click speed and tenacity to schedule an online appointment on behalf of the parishioner.
· Volunteers keep in regular telephone contact with their assigned parishioner to apprise of scheduling status.
Would you like to participate?
· Please send an email to stclarevaccinehelp@gmail.
com · Introduce yourself and include a telephone number for a volunteer to contact you directly.
· ** The matching process may take 1 – 2 days before you receive the initial phone call from your volunteer.

Exemplification Team Chosen
My brothers- we will be reaching our quota when Christopher Seeber turns 18 on May 22. We will be putting together an Exemplification Team for our new ceremonials. Minimum needed is 5- with some readers playing multiple roles. If you would like to ease our burden by volunteering for a role, let Ted Seeber know. We can use up to eight- you can download the full script here.
This new exemplification is no longer secret- but because it is no longer secret, it can serve as an introduction to the Knights for the rest of our parish.
The actual date of the ceremonials is to be determined.

Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly’s Message to Members
Stand for Life
A request from Council 6266
Peace of Christ to you!I could use your help with a call to Knights to stand for life. Please ask the the area GK,s to send the request to their council members. Request below.I received a request from the ladies who are working hard on the 40 Days For Life campaign at the Planned Parenthood on SW 1st and SW Betts in Beaverton across the street from the Post Office. The campaign is a peaceful vigil of prayer and information on options for those considering abortion which lasts for the 40 days of Lent from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday - Saturday.Last Saturday, the ladies met with resistance from a group of protesters dressed in black. The ladies were met with shouting and loud drums. Some of the ladies were traumatized by the actions of the protesters. We have been asked to come to the 40 Days For Life campaign on Saturday to stand in support of the ladies. The counter protesters showed up around 10:00 AM and left around 2:00 PM. Let us stand with the courageous ladies as they advocate for life for the unborn. This is a peaceful vigil and we will do our part to keep it peaceful. We are not mixing with or engaging the protesters as we will be across the street from the Planned Parenthood. On Saturdays, after the morning mass at St. Cecilia's, the rosary has been offered across the street from Planned Parenthood for the last 18 years. The rosary begins around 8:45 AM. Come and join us in prayer and support for the unborn. This is the preeminent struggle of our age.I would encourage my Brother Knights to consider stopping by the 40 Days For Life during Lent and especially on Saturday's.God love each of you.Scott PetersenGK 6266
