Brothers, you are all invited to attend a funeral Mass at SJF on May 5th for my Mom, Rita Devlin. The service starts at noon and there will be a reception following until 4:30pm at the Stockpot Restaurant located at the Red Tail golf course in Beaverton. Hope you all are able to attend either or both events. She was a good Catholic lady who helped a lot of people. Thanks, Mike Devlin

From: Claudia Krage St Clare is in need of volunteers to help with two types of tasks for the Parish Directory: Hosting during photo sessions - this involves being at the Parish Office in the Clare Room to greet folks as they arrive for their photography session and confirm their contact info. We will provide you with info so you can answer questions. Also, some volunteers may be asked to make calls to people scheduled the next day to remind them of appointment and that photography is at the parish office. See below for dates and times. Help with Sign Ups for photo sessions after Masses - This involves providing sign up sheets for open photo appt times. Again we will have material with info to assist in answering questions. Dates and times listed below: If you can volunteer for a time slot, please email Claudia Krage at claudia.vkrage@gmail.com or call at 503.244.0811. All volunteer hours will qualify to serve as Parish hours for school families. Sign Up Times and Dates: Ap...

We are about a week from having an Initiation Degree & Business Meeting. I'll put out an agenda soon. But here are some of the ideas bouncing around in my head: First of all, Ted is becoming a permanent employee of Intel. Good news for our council, as well as his family. Deo Gratias! We have been asked by the Archdiocese to prepare the Trimbly House (the actual rectory of St. Clare's at the corner of the school campus) for the Echo Program- three single lay theology students will be living there starting in August for a year, serving at St. Clare's, St Pius X, and Holy Trinity. Five councils have been asked to participate in this. Mike Devlin has agreed to lead this. We've lost our June 3rd breakfast, but for a good cause. Our seminarian Council Member is being ordained June 2nd, he will be saying his first Mass at 8:30 am at St. Clare's June 3rd. We may yet be asked to help with the reception afterwards. To that end, we have two sem...
