All Hand on Deck for November 5 Breakfast at St. Clare's

Sunday, November 5 is another breakfast at St. Clare's.  W e still need plenty of volunteers!  Both shifts on Sunday are wide open, so it should be easy to find a time that works for you.  On both shifts, Serving Line and Dining Room may also choose to attend Mass, as long as you do the Judas Shuffle to come tell us when The Blessed Sacrament is being distributed, so that we can prepare for the 9:30am and 11:45 am rushes. Contact Ted Seeber, seebert42@gmail.com , to volunteer. Please also remember the Time Change will happen at 1-2am on November 5th, so we might want to try to have some stuff ready early for people arriving an hour before Mass.Ted will attempt to have the doors open at 6:30 am to start making coffee.

Brother Daniel Salomon, GK: Prayer Request from Saint Clare Catholic Church

Dear Brother Knights, As you know, one of the outcomes when we asked Father Don for help is that we help Father Don when we pray for his parish. Please keep Saint Clare Catholic Church in your prayers. Please especially pray for our very own Rick LeFaivre who was ordained a deacon last Thursday and will be ordained a priest this coming June. After this priestly ordination he will study one more year in Rome and then be assigned to serve in a parish here in the diocese. Please keep Rick in your prayers. Please pray for Father Don as he is away at the annual Priest's Convocation. By all means, also keep St. John Fisher in your prayers too and your priests and deacons. Looking forward! Thanks so much! May the peace of Christ be with you! Sincerely, Brother Daniel Salomon, GK

Breakfast was a huge success!

$508 net $254 for the parish $254 for the council. Thank you to the guys who came up from St. Anthony's to volunteer and help out- Brian, Joe, Steve and Scott.  Thank you also to Dave Hullinger for cooking for us! We ran out of eggs, sausage, and went through more than 25 lbs of pancake mix.  Ted Seeber ran out to the store in the middle to get a hundred more sausages and 10 dozen more eggs, and we ran out of sausages at the end and only had 2 gallon bags of eggs left, both of which went to our Grand Knight Daniel.
