For those who did not participate in Supreme’s webinar last night about the new Exemplification of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity, here are a "few" of the things that were discussed:
1. You may recite the Pledge of Allegiance before starting the ceremony. The pledge was not included in the ceremonial script because some countries do not have a pledge of allegiance.
2. Four presenters are preferred, but you can do the degree with less than four presenters. A presenter can do more than one part.
3. You do not have to keep candidates in the anti-chamber. They can visit with family and friends until it is time to start the ceremony.
4. You do not have to follow the seating chart/diagram exactly. But you should try to seat the candidates in front of the presenters.
5. The presenters and warden should be mindful that the guests also want to see and hear what’s taking place. Make sure they can see and hear you.
6. For new members, you should fill out all the three degree dates in Section 4 of the Form 100.
7. The new constitutional roll will be a hardcover book.
8. You can skip pews between the rows of candidates in Church to make it easier to pass out the fibers.
9. You can purchase a rope/cable and fibers from Home Depot or a hardware store. You do not have to purchase it from Supreme’s vendor.
While I expect the usual complaints and criticism in the comments, I am also hopeful others will appreciate this information.
