Blessed Michael McGivney relics are coming to Oregon!

 

Schedule of Events

Friday March 14th in Medford

Saturday March 15th in Salem

Sunday March 16th at the Cathedral AND St. Anthony's in Tigard

Monday March 17th in Independence

 

 

Notes for Venerators:

 

-          During each opportunity for Veneration, a basket will be placed near the relic along with pens and paper where anyone can bring forth prayer requests and petitions through his intercession and place them in the basket.

-          A line will form for Veneration as directed by ushers. Each venerator will get about 15 seconds to venerate in front of the relic.

-          Anyone who wishes to touch a religious item (crucifix, Rosary, medal, scapular, etc) to the relic may do so and that item will become a 3^rd Class Relic.

 

4^th Degree Request: Each Mass will have a 4^th Degree Honor Guard. In addition, two 4^th

Degree personnel will stand guard by the relic, one on each side, during Veneration times. All 4^th Degree personnel are invited to attend these events and participate in honor guard activities.
