Pray for St. Joseph in Salem Damaged in Fire A devastating fire broke out early this morning at St. Joseph Parish / Iglesia de San Jose in Salem. Archbishop Alexander Sample was on site all day to help support the community reeling from this tragedy. In a statement released earlier today, he gave thanks to God that no one was hurt and expressed his gratitude to the first responders. The Archbishop also implored the faithful to pray the Memorare at noon today in solidarity with the people of St. Joseph parish. The community is already hard at work on recovery efforts. Tents are up in the parking lot where the Archbishop celebrated Mass today with more than 300 of the faithful. Archbishop Sample will be back in Salem on Sunday to celebrate Mass at St. Joseph at 11:30 AM. All are invited to attend. Donations to the St. Joseph Salem Fire Relief Fund can be made online.
