An announcement about KofC Insurance

Worthy Grand Knights & Financial Secretaries,

 

There have been some changes with the Knights of Columbus Fraternal Benefits in Oregon. General Agent Gabe Kennedy is no longer the General Agent due to taking a new position with another company.  Field Agent Yong Tran, Jon Johnson, and Zander Doby are also no longer with Knights of Columbus Insurance.  There are currently three Field Agents with the Oregon Knights of Columbus Insurance. They are Rob Duncan, Sonny Van, and Doug Hagedon.

 

Now the good news.  The new General Agent for Oregon is Keith Whiteaker.  This is a good thing for Oregon. Brother Keith was a successful General Agent in Southern California until the State of California changed agency rules and making it hard for agencies to be viable. Brother Keith currently the General Agent of Washington, Hawaii, and Alaska, so he will be a very busy General Agent.  He knows how to run a successful agency and was one of the top General Agents in the Order.  I feel very good about him being the GA for Oregon and I know he will be able to solve the needs areas of Oregon that have been neglected for a long time.

 

I had a meeting Brother Keith and informed me that we might be able to utilize Field Agent Pete Wimmer out of Spokane to help those councils in Eastern Oregon and possibly Central Oregon.  Pete Wimmer should be a familiar face for Oregon because he was a successful Field Agent in Central and Eastern Oregon.  We still have three very successful Field Agents with Rob Duncan, Sonny Van, and Doug Hagedon.  These three guys are going to be very busy providing fraternal services for the whole state.

 

Those Councils who have achieved your membership goal or are close to achieving their membership goal need to either email one of the three Field Agents the members contact information or have the member contact them with their fraternal benefits needs.
