Easter egg hunt planning

Funny, Michael Chau asked about this just Friday Night.

Hello!

The St Clare Easter Egg hunt is upon us! The below are opportunities and ways we could use help and need volunteers. Some of you have helped in past years. Please fill out the google sheet if you are interested in helping this year. If you need to get your final in parish school hours this event counts towards those hours.

This is a quick overview of the plan and ways you could sign up to help.

Setup:
The Knights of Columbus group has volunteered again to help with setting up the age group zones. This will take place on Saturday before Easter. TBD if they need more help.

Run of show day of Easter 4/5:
There will be 2 age groups this year: 0-5 by the side lawn to the garage and 6-12 by the playground to the open field. Kids will line up on the curb waiting for the air horn sound to start the egg hunt.

The areas of volunteer help are mostly for the day of the event in the morning.
  • Day of Easter laying/hiding eggs and decorating the playground in the zoned areas (15 people or as many as we can get. Starting at 7:15/7:30 am. Kids 2nd grade and up can help with this with you.
  • Day of Easter Line up in front of the curb by the school field and playground as a monitor before the egg hunt begins (6-8 people needed 5-10 min ask)
  • Day of Easter Clean up (5 volunteers needed - 30 min ask at most)
If any of you are interested in helping in one of these areas I have a google sign up sheet. Again reach out and let me know what works best with your schedule.

We are in need of CANDY, donations can start now Please spread the word to other parents or if you are a room parent share with your class or groupMe chat.

Please reach out if you have any additional questions.

In a couple weeks before I will send a follow up with a few more details.

Cheers,

Heather
