Overheard at the Breakfast on Sunday, ACTS retreat need

If you have a few hours to donate Thursday Night, we can still use a few spare seat belts for driving the ACTS participants down to Mt Angel.  You do NOT need to have participated in November to drive a few ladies down. Here is the original volunteer request, form, and contact info.  Dear Brothers, In just two weeks, a new group of 25 ACTS retreatants and their supporting team will gather in Mt. Angel for the 2025 Women’s ACTS Retreat, taking place March 12–15. As their ACTS Brothers, we are asking for your support to help make the first Women's ACTS Retreat at St. Clare a success. There are several ways to get involved, from the send-off on Thursday, March 12 to the Candlelight service on Saturday, March 14, as well as the Sunday return luncheon that is being run by the parish. Please review the volunteer options and sign up for a time that fits your schedule using the link below: https://docs.google.com/ spreadsheets/d/ 17vi8UBMcs8qnOsF7xnFnEMiCbI7I3 RNp/edit?usp=sharing...

An exciting announcement.  May 23rd is a date to save.

Tom Owen's Brother George has passed away

Michael Chau just called to give me the news.  Please pray for the soul of George Durante. More information from Tom: Dear Family and Friends I am deeply sad to announce that yesterday I received word that my younger brother, George DuRante, died in Florida. He left behind his partner, Roberta Elftman and three adult children—Adam, Billy and Brian. George and I were very close, especially in his younger life and over the past 10 years. When I lived in New York City and was in high school, I was given the responsibility of taking care of George and my grandmother for a year while my mom went to live with her husband Sgt. George DuRante where he was stationed in Germany in the Army. Bonnie and I felt fortunate to have visited George in the hospital during his last week of life even though he was unconscious then. We will keep George, his family and friends in our prayers. Love and peace, Brother Tom
