Rosary for Florence Morris Sunday Afternoon

Image
My Dear Brothers, Ladies, and Friends: Anyone who has attended a State Convention or Mid-Year meeting knows Florence Morris.  From leading rosary-making sessions to helping prepare meals and joining in many Knights of Columbus activities, Florence has been an icon within the Oregon Knights of Columbus for many years.     Now, our 2022 Oregon Lady of the Year, who has prayed for so many of us and our causes, could use our prayers.  As many of you know, Florence has been battling cancer and all the side ailments that go along with it.  She is such a strong believer in the power of prayer, and this is our chance to be strong for her. The Oregon Knights of Columbus will lead a virtual Rosary - this Sunday, March 22nd, at 1:00 p.m.    The link to attend online, along with the telephone number to call in, is listed below. Please pass the word, this is open to all.   If you cannot attend at that time, please take some quiet time on ...

Other Acts need

I have 10 guys so far, I'd rather have 15 to make sure Sunday March 15 goes smoothly.  The ask is 10am-4pm, but the more guys we have the quicker cleanup will go.  This is of course the ACTS retreat reception at St. Clare's, please contact seebert42@gmail.com if you can volunteer, especially for the 10am-1145 am slot.

Overheard at the Breakfast on Sunday, ACTS retreat need

If you have a few hours to donate Thursday Night, we can still use a few spare seat belts for driving the ACTS participants down to Mt Angel.  You do NOT need to have participated in November to drive a few ladies down. Here is the original volunteer request, form, and contact info.  Dear Brothers, In just two weeks, a new group of 25 ACTS retreatants and their supporting team will gather in Mt. Angel for the 2025 Women’s ACTS Retreat, taking place March 12–15. As their ACTS Brothers, we are asking for your support to help make the first Women's ACTS Retreat at St. Clare a success. There are several ways to get involved, from the send-off on Thursday, March 12 to the Candlelight service on Saturday, March 14, as well as the Sunday return luncheon that is being run by the parish. Please review the volunteer options and sign up for a time that fits your schedule using the link below: https://docs.google.com/ spreadsheets/d/ 17vi8UBMcs8qnOsF7xnFnEMiCbI7I3 RNp/edit?usp=sharing...

Easter egg hunt planning

Funny, Michael Chau asked about this just Friday Night. Hello! The St Clare Easter Egg hunt is upon us! The below are opportunities and ways we could use help and need volunteers. Some of you have helped in past years. Please fill out the google sheet if you are interested in helping this year. If you need to get your final in parish school hours this event counts towards those hours.  This is a quick overview of the plan and ways you could sign up to help.  Setup: The Knights of Columbus group has volunteered again to help with setting up the age group zones. This will take place on Saturday before Easter. TBD if they need more help.  Run of show day of Easter 4/5:  There will be 2 age groups this year: 0-5 by the side lawn to the garage and 6-12 by the playground to the open field. Kids will line up on the curb waiting for the air horn sound to start the egg hunt. The areas of volunteer help are mostly fo...
