Volunteer Opportunities Abound - A very busy Lent

Nothing like me mentioning "Don Mey's out of town" to bring the volunteer requests out of the woodwork. March 5, 2026:  Dinner and a talk, Deacon Bill on Evangelization.  Register at this link  and if you can come early or stay late for setup/teardown contact seebert42@gmail.com March 6, 2026:  Friday soup suppers at both St. Clare and St. John Fisher March 8, 2026:  Breakfast at St. Clare's.  Ted will now have the doors open at 6:30 am as we will not be able to set up tables the night before, contact seebert42@gmail.com March 13, 2026:  St. Andre Besette is doing soup supper at St. Clare's with half their members on the Women's retreat.  John says they have enough soup. Contact  johnkowal@aol.com  if you can volunteer.  Soup supper also at SJF that night March 15, 2026:  Knights are setting up and serving and cleaning up for the end of the Women's ACTS retreat. Contact seebert42@gmail.com if you can volunteer 10am-2pm

Two upcoming volunteer opportunities March 8 and March 15

On both of these, with Don Mey out of town, I'm taking the organizing lead.  email to seebert42@gmail.com to volunteer March 8th breakfast.  I've heard from enough people for Saturday Night setup.  Still need people to cover either the early or the late Sunday morning shifts.  Sunday morning is 7:30-10am or 10:00-2pm, with some adjustment available due to which mass you go to and what jobs you get assigned to. March 15:  Women's ACTS reception.  10:30-1pm.  We'll be serving lunch.

keep Daniel Salomon's sister Rachel in your prayers

Both for custody of her children, but also because she's in a bomb shelter in a city north of Tel Aviv.
