Thank you!

A thank you to all who participated in the Stations of the Cross and soup supper at St John Fisher church Friday, March 14 th .  There were over 50 participants at the Stations of the Cross—the most I have seen at the Stations in my 10 years with the parish.   We provided 6 pots of soup and fed 38 people.  All the pots were empty at the end of the evening.  Again, thanks to all of you who helped make this a successful event for our council.

Protest Abortion Provider Appreciation Day at State Capitol on Saturday, March 22nd @ 3:00 PM Attention Brother Knights, On March 10th, Oregon Governor Kotek signed a proclamation declaring March 10th as the annual "Abortion Provider Appreciation Day". Declaring an appreciation day for those who murder children in the womb? What can be more disgraceful than this proclamation the actual killing of these precious children. Brothers, we cannot just stand by on this one. We need to respond! And we need to respond in numbers. Please join us for a peaceful demonstration at the Oregon State Capitol on March 22nd at 3:00 PM. We will be start promptly at 3:00 PM by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Brothers, our State leaders and our community need to see there are citizens in Oregon who do not support this disgrace. We large turnout. Please invite as many people as possible including your families and offer carpooling for those who need transportation. There will be pro-life ...

To Protect and Serve

This morning in my spam email, I found out it was time again for Praesidium training.  I had apparently missed two previous emails.  I encourage our entire council to visit  https://www.praesidiumacademy.com/learn  and complete this training if you haven't done so recently.   The first part appears to be the same as previous, but there is a Knights specific 2nd part this year. Our constitutional roll promises have changed and will be printed out and distributed at our meeting on March 18. You can also download all print material about the Safe Environment Program at this link.
