Call for Volunteers! October 4-5

First big breakfast at St. Clare's is quickly approaching Oct 5.  As usual we have 3 major shifts: Saturday night 6pm:  Load in and setup (I think I have enough help for this, but the more hands we have, the quicker we can set up our standard 96 place settings and 225 plates stacked) Sunday morning 8am-10:15am-  MANY positions still available Sunday morning 10:15- cleanup-  MANY positions still available For those new to our council, our 10 breakfasts (5 at each parish) every year are our major fundraising. A special request:     someone to learn how to be the back up for the occasions when Scott can't be there to flip pancakes.  This position would require a greater commitment- 8am to about 1pm- and requires learning to run the grill and clean the grill.  Pancake flipper is the most unique set of skills we have- it's not that hard, but we need somebody to be Scott Young's backup, especially now that his council of 3591 has a Knights friendly...

Upcoming competing events Saturday, September 27

Saturday, September 27, is going to be a busy day for our council.  You can choose only one. Light but successful 1st breakfast of the year

Light crowd at SJF this morning 45 breakfasts served  $132.19 net proceeds.

September 14 breakfast at SJF: Volunteers needed!

We need men to volunteer for next weekend at the St. John Fisher Breakfast.  Setup will begin at 8, we serve at 10, finish serving at 1 and then cleanup.   We especially need to get some new backup pancake flippers, and this is an opportunity to learn that position.  If you can be there 8am-1pm, consider volunteering for that. Contact Mike Devlin @  mdevprop@hotmail.com  or 503-246-4045 to volunter.
