One Mass, One Family Picnic Sunday Sept. 7th

Over the years the St Clare Picnic has been a Community “Helping Hands” program for our council.  Let’s do it again this year.  In recent years our participation has not been organized and confined individuals volunteering to help with set up before, clean up during and/or after the picnic. To volunteer this year just scan the QR code in the bulletin (link) for this Sunday. Suggestions: ·        Saturday 5:15PM-6:00PM – Move tables from school gym to the school field. ·        Saturday 6:00PM-8:00PM – Setup the school field ·        Sunday 8:45AM-10:00AM – Setup and Food prep. ·        Sunday 11:00AM-2:00PM – Ground Crew-fill food and Drinks as needed.   John Clare Council 15485 June Hybrid Meeting will be held on Tuesday 8/19/2025  at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be, in-person, at St. Clare Parish Hall, doors open at 6:30 PM, and online via Zoom.  See the attached links below. The Installation of Officers for the 2025/2026 year will occur after our initial prayers and roll call, but prior to our normal business meeting. We will have an abbreviated meeting to allow time for the installation of officers. There is also the potential for a Fraternal Benefits presentation, either during, or following our meeting. St. Vincent de Paul

The Pantries of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul are running low during these summer months, please consider donating. Check the bulletins or reach out to the folks at both St. Clare and St. John Fisher. @ The St. Clare -  Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry Needs • Peanut Butter especially Creamy • Applesauce • Canned Entrees such as Chili, Ravioli, etc. • Pasta Sauce • Tomato Sauce • Dried Spaghetti • Tuna • Shampoo • Paper Towels Donations may be placed in the food baskets at the church or on the front porch of the parish office. *Please check dates to ensure foods have not expired.* I am sure the needs are similar at St. John Fisher.

Christine Zotter Funeral Mass - wife of Paul Resweber

The Funeral Mass for Christine Zotter (Paul Resweber's wife) will be at St. Clare Church this Friday, August 8th, at 11:00 AM. There will be a reception following the Mass, in the St. Clare Parish Hall. Please consider attending, if you are able, in support of our brother Knight Paul Resweber and his son Michael Paul. Let us continue to keep Christine, Paul and their son, Michael Paul in our prayers.
